FFEN works alongside food shelves to provide capacity and help  implement operational changes. 

FFEN offers a multi-level approach for food shelf leaders to engage in ways that work best for their needs. From one-on-one tailored support to professional development to broader systems work, FFEN services focus on improving the experience for the food shelf shopper by offering more predictable, fresh food through welcoming and dignified experiences.

No-Cost Consultation to Food Shelves

FFEN staff and skilled volunteers work alongside food shelves to implement operational and organizational change to improve their services to their shoppers. This tailored, one-on-one support offers engagement levels that work for their needs – from a one-time resource call to full project management support to drive change and decisions for their organization.

FFEN Essentials Education Series

FFEN’s education sessions are developed in response to themes from local food shelf consultation and focus on providing space for consistent learning and valuable networking across the statewide sector. Ongoing and one-time sessions are available for new and veteran food shelf leaders to learn both best practices and emerging trends in hunger relief.
