Title: Data Analyst Intern
Share about your professional experience (and background)?
I have a certification in data analysis where I get to learn how to use data to help others make insightful food decisions. In addition, I am pursuing a graduate degree in Public Health at Chamberlin University and have learned about the importance of helping others achieve holistic health while encouraging them to engage in positive behavior change practices.
What most interested you about FFEN?
I am passionate about helping others in the food sector and I saw that FFEN was an organization that allowed me to dive into my interest in working in this area of food data while also being an organization that supports public health initiatives and practices to help many people gain access to healthier foods.
What are you most excited about in your role?
The role was exciting to me because it was specifically a food data role in the public health space. Food is an important foundational element of life and in this role, I get to combine my passions, background, and career interests into one role. FFEN had a data analyst role that fit all of these criteria where I can work in the food space and work with food data, increase my data analysis knowledge, and help others in a positive way.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Whenever I am free I enjoy watching YouTube movies.
