Katie Bull, Director of Programs joined FFEN in 2021 with 8 years of experience in hunger relief, first serving as Program Manager before assuming her current position as Director of Programs. Prior to her roles at FFEN, she was Food Resource Developer and Special Projects Coordinator at Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank in Duluth, MN, and has filled multiple roles at Second Harvest Heartland in the Twin Cities, including Agency Relations Account Specialist, Food Rescue Specialist and Food Rescue Programs Manager. Through her many roles she has partnered with more than 150 food shelves to support both their agency capacity as well as their food rescue relationships.

In addition to her work in the food relief sector, Katie was Membership, Communications and Services Manager at Minnesota Association for Volunteer Administration (MAVA) managing day-to-day operations as well as executing trainings and events for volunteer leaders across the state. She also served as VISTA Leader for the Minnesota Literacy Council.

She holds a BA in English from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and has a certificate to teach English as a Foreign Language from Hamline University.
