Katherine Winter is a maverick. Not only does her resume support this claim, but her willingness and readiness to think outside the box make her the ideal addition to FFEN’s Board of Directors.
Currently serving as a Product Owner at Gravie, Katherine is a leader in many areas from ideation and creation to communication and execution. And her entrepreneurial spirit is an asset to all that FFEN hopes to accomplish in the very near future.
“FFEN’s collaborative leadership style combined with its goal for continuous improvement is crucial to reshaping the hunger relief sector,” Katherine shared.
Prior to her position at Gravie, Katherine served as Director of Product and Clinical Integration for Ōmcare in Minneapolis where she led development of a medical device for seniors to keep in touch with caregivers and manage their medications. She previously served as Lead Clinical Consultant for Bright Health Plan in Minneapolis where, among other roles, she created clinical programs with health systems to promote value-based care. Katherine also served in a number of capacities for Fairview Health Services in addition to committee appointments that helped hone her outstanding leadership skills. And as a volunteer for Special Olympics and Camp Odayin since 2007, her commitment to giving back to the community is clear.
Katherine is pursuing an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management at Carlson School of Management, and holds a Master of Biological Science in Pharmacology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities in addition to being a Prosci Certified Change Management Practitioner.
