Share about your educational experience and background?

I was born and raised in Corcoran, Minnesota. I currently study Arts Entrepreneurship at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and will graduate May 2023. I am minoring in Advertising and Graphic Design. My creative passions are photography, fashion styling, and graphic design. My invested dedication in the arts has constructed my educational journey. I have been actively refining my artistic eye since attending the Fashion Institute of Technology where I graduated in May 2020.

What most interested you about FFEN?

What most interests me about FFEN is their dedication to supporting food shelves across Minnesota and the educational opportunities they offer regarding food access in the state. I am passionate about using my creative skillset to uplift causes I support and FFEN is an organization I want to do that for.

What are you most excited about in your role?

I am most excited about learning from the FFEN team and using this internship as an opportunity to refine my graphic design skills in a professional environment. I am ecstatic about creating both digital and print collateral for practical usage.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time I enjoy being active and fashion styling. I am passionate about fitness and spend my free time at the gym or playing sports. My two favorite sports to play are volleyball and pickleball. I also am a vintage clothing collector and love to style new outfits.

Favorite Quote?

I have two quotes that come to mind but I don’t know the source of them. The first is, “Comparison is the thief of joy.” The second is, “Resiliency is not the capacity for suffering.”
