Give extra support to Foundation for Essential Needs (FFEN) by doubling your dollars to make the MAXimum impact, helping food shelves focus their limited energy and resources on what matters most for their shoppers.

Food shelves just like Cansayapi Food Pantry in south central Minnesota. When the pandemic initially hit, Lower Sioux Indian Community Health Program staff had a stroke of creative ingenuity—with their casino’s entertainment venue closed, they used the space to set up regular  food distributions to the community. They reached out to FFEN with a need to transition from a short-term emergency food distribution to an ongoing food pantry in a new permanent space. Thanks to generous supporters like you, FFEN staff and skilled volunteers provided them with free technical assistance and consultation to:

– Design a shopper-centered food shelf layout with equipment recommendations
– Provide clear, flexible food shelf signage for easy shopper flow
– Coach Cansayapi staff on strategic food sourcing changes
-On the ground support for the initial opening and as needed
